Vimeo OTT: What's next in H2 2026

In H1 2026 we shipped a steady stream of improvements to Vimeo OTT, with the aim of giving sellers and their audiences a best in class streaming experience.

And in H2, we're working in four focus areas:

  1. Monetization
  2. Data and insights
  3. Viewer experience
  4. Seller security

Here are the highlights of what's coming to Vimeo OTT in H2.

Monetization

Multi-tier subscriptions

  • Allow multiple subscription tiers with different entitlements.
  • Sellers create multiple plans at different price points.
  • Viewers choose a tier at checkout and are prompted to upgrade when they try to access content outside their plan.

Key benefit: Enables price differentiation, lower-priced entry tiers, and premium upsells.

  • Automated monthly reports that summarize each seller's key platform metrics: subscriber growth, churn, revenue, viewer engagement, and content performance.
  • Sellers receive a monthly report with pre-built charts and summaries covering subscriber trends, top-performing content, engagement metrics, and revenue highlights.

Key benefit: Give sellers reliable, zero-effort insights to track platform health, inform decisions, and share with stakeholders.
