For Nicolas Heller — or “New York Nico” as he’s known on Instagrammaking character-driven documentaries on the streets of New York City isn’t just a side hustle. It’s also a specialty offered by his production company, Heller Films.

“Anyone who’s looking for real stories will generally come to us,” Nicolas explains. “Over the years, we’ve worked with a lot of names you might recognize: State Farm, Guinness, Marc Jacobs, Foursquare…”
